Pitton Community Store

Setting up the Pitton Community Store depends on the support of local residents and funding bodies. Initial set up costs include legal work related to leasing the land and architectural work to design the shop and obtain planning permission.

We’re very grateful to have received generous donations which combined with the funds raised through the Pioneer Share Offer, Wiltshire Council’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund and grants from Pitton and Farley Parish Council and Firsdown Parish Council have enabled us to cover these set up costs. Now that we have planning permission and formal agreement with Pitton Village Hall a second Community Share Scheme has been completed and has raised £202,450.
