Pitton Community Store

Setting up the Pitton Community Store depends on the support of local residents and funding bodies.

We’re very grateful to have received generous donations which combined with the funds raised through the first Pioneer Share Offer, Wiltshire Council’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund and grants from Pitton and Farley Parish Council and Firsdown Parish Council enabled us to cover the set up costs and get the project underway.

Subsequently a second Community Share Scheme raised a fantastic £202,450. This combined with a further grant of £97,000 from Wiltshire Council’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund, and grants from the Landfill Community Fund (administered through Community First) and the Bernard Sunley Foundation, has enabled us to fully fund the building of the shop. We are most grateful for their support.
